There are many different ways to have a successful launch, but these three things below are a MUST before you try to sell an online program or product.

You could go about these three things in a variety of ways, but if you are going to launch, you definitely want to make sure you have these items in place.

1. Audience

This is basic. You need people to sell to.

You could have the best program or product in the world, but if you don’t have anyone to tell it about, it doesn’t matter.

And, let’s say you have the best kitty litter in the world but your audience doesn’t have cats, they won’t buy form you.

You get the point. 😉

Your audience has to want and need what you are selling.

The BEST thing you can do right now to grow your audience is to create free opt-ins to build your email list.

2. Trust

Trust must come before selling.

You can build trust by sharing your credentials now and then, sharing valuable content and offering quick wins, and showing up consistently.

Let’s break that down a little.

Credentials – The internet is crowded! People want to know if they are going to pay you, they will get their monies worth. Especially in the health and wellness space, I think credentials set you apart!

Valuable content + quick wins – Your audience needs to understand their problem and how you can help solve it. This can take the form of blog posts, emails, websites, reviews, etc. Offering free mini challenges, downloads, or a call will help your potential clients get an idea of what it is like to work with you and build their trust in you.

Valuable and educational content also builds your authority in your field. It sets you apart from the crowd and, over time, you become your ideal clients’ go-to resource.

Show up consistently – Putting consistent content out there shows your audience that you are not going anywhere. We see so many online businesses and blogs come and go. People are waiting to see if you will last, if your programs will get results and if they can trust you. For this reason, it is important to run an offer more that once!

3. Excitement Before Launch

I see many business owners put a post or two up on social and wonder why no one signed up for their program. Unless you are famous, it would be wise to come up with at least some sort of launch plan and create a little excitement and buzz around an upcoming launch.
